Welcome to our Website!
Thanks so much for visiting our site! The goal of our church, as well as this website, is to simply point people to Jesus. In an age of increasing conflict, confusion, and anxiety, Jesus “will be the sure foundation for our times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge” (Isaiah 33:6). He is our “refuge and strength, an ever present help in times of trouble” (Psalm 46:1). Whether or not you have found your refuge in Jesus, you’ve no doubt experienced some measure of the craziness that this life has to offer. I’m in that club, too! The pain and problems of this life will either cause us to long for Jesus and heaven and to prioritize our lives accordingly, or to search endlessly for an earthly remedy. Such “remedies” are cheap imitations of the life and peace that Jesus makes available to us. To think that the things of the world could satisfy our innate craving for God would be the equivalent of expecting a bread crumb to satisfy a man dying of hunger. As Jesus and heaven become the passion of our lives, we’ll find the words of Jesus to be true indeed: “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and yet forfeits his own soul.” (Matthew 16:26). We can, of course, choose to ignore Jesus’ advice and invitation to come to Him. The result will likely be a life of very little peace and loads of anxiety. We are living in exciting days! Let’s fix our eyes on Jesus, set our hearts on eternity, and walk in His will!
“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose” – Jim Elliott

Visiting for the first time?
You may be wondering:
1) What do I wear? We believe that Jesus loves us regardless of how we dress, so please dress comfortably. You will find lots of jeans and T-shirts and very few ties at our church.
2) Where do my kids go? We encourage parents to incorporate their children into the appropriate class as soon as is comfortable. It’s our belief that kids learn best with age appropriate lessons. You can read more about our heart for Children’s Ministry in our “Ministries” section. We have the following classes available during the Sunday morning service:
Cry Room (for moms with new babies)
Infants
Toddlers
Pre-school/Kindergarten (4 years - kindergarten)
School Age 1 (1st – 3rd grade)
School Age 2 (4th – 6th grade)
3) What’s the worship like? We believe that our worship to God should be spiritual, intelligent, and emotional. You will find our worship to be contemporary (with an occasional “zesty” hymn) and passionate.
4) What’s the teaching like? We place a high priority on the teaching of God’s Word during our Sunday service. A unique characteristic of the Calvary Chapel movement is the belief that teaching verse-by-verse through the Bible is the best way to know the God of the Bible and live in obedience to Him. Pastor Travis is currently teaching through the book of Acts.
5) What’s Wednesday night like? Wednesday night is the highlight of the week for our “seekers”. We turn the lights down and press into Jesus through worship, communion, and prayer. Our agenda on Wednesday night is simple… to wait on Him!
